First Set Up
Start here. This guide walks you through powering on your Character Portal, connecting your phone, and displaying your first piece of content.

We recommend watching the full setup video once before going through the individual steps below.
STEP 01
Power on the Character Portal.
Move the power switch from OFF to ON. Wait for the device to finish starting up before connecting your phone.
STEP 02
Connect your phone.
Open the HILDORS app and follow the connection flow for your Character Portal. If prompted, allow the app to access your local network so it can communicate with the device.
STEP 03
Choose something to display.
Browse official content in the app or select your own supported media. Once uploaded, choose the content you want to play on the Portal.
