What is the P20?
The HILDORS P20 is a compact POV LED floating display designed to show animated characters, artwork, and other visual content on your desk. Its rotating LEDs create the appearance of images floating in space; it is not a laser hologram.
Do I need an internet connection?
An internet connection is not required for continuous playback of content already saved on the device. You can connect to the device through its companion app to manage content. Accessing online content libraries may require switching your phone back to regular Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Can I use my own characters?
Yes. You can upload your own character animations, photos, and artwork using the companion app. Supported file formats include MP4, AVI, JPG, and GIF. Content prepared against a black background generally produces the best floating-display effect.
What devices are supported?
P20 is managed using the HILDORS companion mobile app. Please check the app's latest compatibility requirements for your phone before purchasing.
How realistic is the floating display?
The P20 uses 149 RGB LEDs and persistence-of-vision (POV) technology to create a bright, floating visual effect. The display resolution is 298 × 298. Appearance will vary with the content, lighting, and viewing angle.
Does P20 have Bluetooth or built-in speakers?
No. P20 is a visual-only display with no Bluetooth audio or built-in speaker. If you want a model with Bluetooth audio and a built-in speaker, choose the P20 Portal.
Is P20 suitable for filming and streaming?
Yes. It can be used as a visual element in desk setup, gaming, and creator videos. Because it is a rotating LED display, you may need to adjust your camera's shutter speed and frame rate to minimize flicker or banding on camera.
